Echoes of history

Rimini gathers in the beautiful historic centre of the ancient evidence of the roman domination, and of the flourishing medieval period.

There are many guided tours, or ideas for a holiday or a cultural afternoon.

Among the major monuments dating back to roman times you can see the impressive Arch of Augustus, the impressive Tiberius Bridge, the beautiful Porta Montanara, the fascinating remains of the Roman Amphitheatre and the amazing Domus of the Surgeon.

Walking along the Corso d'augusto, the main street, shopping central, you can visit the main squares of Rimini, Piazza Tre Martiri and Piazza Cavour, where is situated the Municipal Theatre and the famous Old fish market. Definitely worth a visit are also the Malatesta Temple, the Municipal Museums and the Rocca Malatestiana, often home to exhibitions and collections of international artists.

San Marino

The historic center of the oldest Republic in the world and Mount Titano from 2008 are Heritage of the humanity.

San Leo

To visit the medieval castle located on the top of a rock outcrop that offers a breathtaking view.


Between the lanes and the castle, you will tell the story of the tormented love between Paolo and Francesca.

Santarcangelo di Romagna

City of wine, offers a well cared for historic centre, refined, full of ancient history.


A visit is required to the imposing Malatesta Fortress and the interesting Museum of the Villanovans.
